I filled out a form for a regius 7 on the axepalace site - came to about $4000 at the cheapest. Obviously this deterred me from even considering these models, is that MSRP too?


In your case probably not.


The price for a bone stock Regius comes out to between $3300 to $3500 (6-7 strings)with Flyod and Evertune versions higher.

Once you start to add a lot of options, the price can skyrocket very quickly. Some options are low or no cost but nicer wood and pickups add up very quickly. Mine was about $5k with pretty much custom options everywhere.

Just ordered my 5th mayones (regius 7, quilt maple in blue fade to natural). Yep they're awesome.

The base prices are reasonable, but the options are well marked up!

I'd like to try a Regius 7. Don't think I'll ever get to though.

Also, are the bodies huge? They look really big. Does anyone have one of these and an Ibanez RG that they can take pictures of together? I'm curious to see how much bigger a Regius is (if it is bigger).
