Nothing set in stone yet for new custom runs. An entirely new workshop is on the cards for the very near future so new staff and facilities can be put in place. There'll be a fair few other new cool announcements coming soon too!

Has Perry started to try to get some distribution deal around the World?
Does he plan to attend the next Musikmesse in Europe?
I say because I think his business might really start to hit stride here in Europe.
And mostly because the only Fanned Fret guitar you can find is the Ibanez RGIF, so there's loads of space for people who doesn't want that brand/shape/whatever.

I saw perry mention on the Facebook group that he was considering an even cheaper GTR line eventually maybe built in one of the WMI controlled factories in indonesia. That'd be pretty cool, although he said the time for that isn't quite right.

"So I posted my daughters ngd already, but have finally had the chance to play the guitar myself. I will start by saying I am about an average player just about anything 80s metal is where my wheelhouse is. With that out of the way, this guitar is insane. There was no need for a learning curve with it being the first time playing a fanned fret guitar. I ran through everything from Celtic Frost 2 Bob Dylan and short of a processed acoustic guitar sound it handled it all. I've always been a bit of a pinch harmonic nut and this guitar produces in spades deep house two high pitched squeals it does it all. I am more than happy about selling off one of my San Dimas Charvel in order to get in on the first two runs. Perry from seeing you back at the guitar forums to now, there was no way I could have thought you'd make an instrument as affordable and kick ass as this!!!! Cheers mate, you ROCK."

Just wondering (haven't been really keeping up with the runs and I'm not a member of the facebook group), has anyone received an 8 string HypeGTR yet?

That's the model I'm most interested in, but I don't even know if they have been sold in a run yet haha.

The 8 string models are due to hit Australia in the first week of June as part of Run 2. Spares were ordered with alder bodies in the walnut and quilt version Hype GTRs so keep an eye out for those being made available soon.

I can't wait to get that thing in my hands man.......

I went through quite a few different specs before I landed on that one.... They Goliath wasn't even announced when I won the comp!!! Lol.
Luckily Perry was nice enough to let me get on it, as I was originally speccing out another hype model. But I think the \Goliath\ will be a rad addition to my HypeGTR - Compliment one another nicely!

congrats and lucky you bro. Deff a good looking one, and way better like this than the black burst you had before. Altough I kinda miss the gold hardware, but black loors rad too. White pups? hhehehe :hbang:

Yeah I would have loved to have the gold HW on there, but it looked a bit busy if ya know what I mean. The black on there is understated and not a focal point, so doesnt draw your eye away from the rad flame/burst

Also, I would have loved gold frets as well, but that's a bit of a big ask hahaha.

Either way, maple on maple neck/fb on swamp ash with the nunchucker pup is gonna be sooooo badass! Can't wait to her how it sounds.

White pups would be ace - Though i think that may be something i buy further down the track as an Upgrade.
