Alright so I'm having a slight noise issue with p90s in my rig. Its not the hum, I have a decimator and it handles the hum wonderfully. The problem occurs when i scratch.

I use my 60's tribute les paul for relatively high gain music as well as low gain and alot of cleans. When i start playing with high gain, i get slight feedback every time i scratch. It doesn't swell or linger, but every scratch produces slight feedback. I was expecting some noise but not quite like this.

Has anyone had this issue or have an idea of how to fix it?

My chain is just: Guitar -> ISP Decimator -> Peavey 3120

any advice is much appreciated

NOTE: I have no issues with my 2 humbucker guitars but the same thing happens when i used my friend squier custom II which also has p90s

are you playing near florescent or neon lights, or anything with a large transformer?

nope, that's one of the things I had thought of but no dice

Can you record what's happening? It's much easier to hear it and help you than by trying to imagine it from just words.
