i had myself an idea
i want bareknuckles, and i want white (7 string set lol)
clearly i could just get bobbin toppers.
but i was thinking, what if i rip out the stock pickups and take em apart, bore out like .5 mm along the insides of the pole piece holes, and painted it white and cleared it.
would that work?
tim said (and i've seen proof of it) that he could wind the pickups along my bobbins if i sent them to him.
should i do that? would it work well? or would it be a waste of time/postage for something that would scratch off pretty soon, leaving me needing bobbin toppers anyways
