As far as I know, at least the first AC was entirely made by the French studio of Ubisoft though. Knowing how French culture works and is usually advertised, it's more about what France and French speaking countries have done than purely French stuff - hence why Celine Dion was chosen to do her stuff as a reprisal of a Piaf for example as Dion is French Canadian. (Also pulling it off in this setting must have been something...)
Also, the uproar from part of the web when it comes to the last super with drag queens is hilarious, when it's just French cabaret mixed with fairly typical mockery of religious things.

I legitimately don't know how the sport works but I just keep going "OHHH SHIT" every time someone gets tackled or gets on a breakaway and hauls ass down the field. The New Zealand team crushed it.
Just looked it up. They are playing sevens - kinda like league, but with less people. Rugby Union is where it is at. Kiwis always crush it.
Getting 2nd place to the Kiwis is pretty damn impressive, and losing by 19 to 12 ain't half bad either. Congrats Canadian women's rugby 7's!

Men's BMX was fucking wild but the judging was kinda sketchy. The French dude should've gotten at least 96 point for his second run.
Not the best day for Canada. Felix Auger Alliasime lost the bronze to Musetti in men's singles tennis (but at least he and Gaby Dabrowski won the bronze in mixed doubles yesterday) and the Canadian women's soccer team lost to Germany in shoot-outs after working really hard to undo a stupid controversy from their head coach. Shucks, but also los gehts Deutschland since my partner is half-German so we still have someone to cheer on!
