Hey guys, Just spent the day recording with some good buddies, and we ended up writing sort of a hardcore-ish type song. Also, I think this is my best mix to date! Guitars were DI->Boost->Lecto->Gamma Impulse->EQ. Bass Was two tracks; The first: EQ->Comp->2nd Comp. The second: Boost->LeXTAC-> Comp-> EQ->2nd Comp. Drums are SD2.3. Here's the link, any input as to what can make it better are welcome and prepare thine pepperoni's for a good whacking :hbang:

I enjoy hardcore thrashy goofy songs. I also love the fact you use the word Jabroni. Stoked on that.

Vocals sound really good, for hardcore.

Guitars could maybe come up a little and try to bring out more "grind" in the mids.

Cool little track! Well done.

Do you think I could achieve similar results with a multiband comp? The mastering chain used only consisted of slight compression to bring up the volume and make it more cohesive and a limiter bringing the peaks down to about -2db
