So, here goes.. ordered bkp aftermaths calibrated set a couple weeks ago. And as I finally got some time to spare I'd install them. :shred:

Opening my backplate I discover Gibson's "brilliant Quick-Connect Control "
:hbang:
Taking the pickups out..Easy, then what looks like "molex" connectors obvious are for 2 conductor pickups, as for the BKP's, their 4.

So here's really my question : Torture my self with trying to make this work?
Or just actually let a tec. do the job this time?

-Pardon my English :D

Are you going to need to use the facilities offered by 4-conductors, such as coil split, and phase switching? If not, it's pretty easy to install them like 2-conductor pickups.

Not really, would just run them as the "current" setup. (for now)

Leaving the other ends open will not lead to any un-wanted noise ?

You don't leave them "open" you solder them together.
