Pickup Suggestions for a PRS Singlecut Trem

I have a 2005 Singlecut Trem that I still haven't bonded with. The stock #6 pickups were muddy and lifeless. I swapped them to a set of Motor City Pickups "Detroiters", but they still don't do it. They have a real angry, pissed off sound, but they aren't thick enough for a Singlecut and they didn't have the output I need.

I have BKP Nailbombs in my CE24 and Rebel Yells in my Standard 24, so I think i would like to avoid them and try something different. What pickups do you guys think I should try? The tone I am going for is like John Sykes.

I had quite Sykesy results with PAF pros.

I would say PAF-style will probably get what you want.

Yeah, it really doesn't matter anymore. I traded the Singlecut for a Les Paul.
