I've just spent the afternoon setting up my mate's guitar for him and couldn't resist taking some pictures, haha. It's a Hofner Verithin, and whilst it's not normally my style of guitar, and nor am I a massive fan of flame maple... I fucking love it! Such a good-looking instrument. Anyway, pics:

...I'm very tempted to elope with it, haha. He asked me to put 11's on it and it sounds absolutely huge as a result! I've actually managed to get the action pretty damn low to boot, which I wasn't expecting to be possible. Anyway, enjoy!

To be honest, I really don't know! He got it second-hand off someone who'd had it for a pretty long time (I wish I'd taken some pictures of how it looked before I cleaned it up, haha - the fretboard gunk was phenomenal), but I suspect this particular model is worth a fair amount.

Guitars like this beauty hold their value. At a guess I'd say it would be worth around $4000 US. Possibly more. To a collector they are priceless.
