Man Matt, your Rhoads V is killer! What is that finish called on it? How much did it run you, if you don't mind me asking?

006 Good to see you here - I see you over at Andy's forum all the time.

The Rhoads finish is called Rootbeer - it's the same finish as on the Phil Collen signature Jackson.

I got the guitar while I was endorser, so the price was pretty good. Out of respect to Jackson guitars, I don't think I should discuss exact prices, but I think it would set me back about $3.5k to buy it now.

I still think the Jem10 is one of the most gorgeous guitars I've ever seen. It is extremely elegant and achieves simplicity through complex design. Mind you, I'm not even a Steve Vai fan!!! I just love guitars that are designed and fused with an element of nature in it (Damn you Opeth ).

2 things I would change though:
- 7 Strings please! (Possibly 8 )
- 2 EMG707 pickups (no middle)

Also, I wouldn't mind having a bronze version of that thing with gold hardware .
