Hey guys, redid some of my old songs, just seeing what you think of the mixing/mastering/tones etc.

Guitar is a Gibson Les Paul through a Laney AOR Pro Tube head, Custom 4x12 cab with Eminence speakers, Ibanez OD, Dunlop Wah, and a Digitech Delay on the solos. Recorded with a Peavey mic (higher end multipurpose mic, similar to a 57). Guitars are double tracked 100% L-R, with a third center track containing the wah track and my solos.

Bass is DI through a Dean 4 string with eq, compressor, one clean track, one with the Bass OD vst.

Drums are my Pearl 4pc with Zildjian cymbals mixed with my custom Superior 2 kit, no effects.

Master has a T-Racks Master, Waves Limiter, and thats it.

Tuning is Drop C.

I know the bass is a little heavy, but it fits the genre, so keep that in mind.

The mix sounds amazing through my KRK 6's, as well as car speakers, though it has that "digital home recorded" sound through normal Bose PC speakers....

Any tips, tricks, or whatnot to make the mix really stand out and have that polished sound? Going for a Down/Corrosion of Conformity/Load-Reload Metallica sound, maybe something a little different.

Vocals are currently being recorded, so they will be up soon.

Thanks in advance guys!
