Damn, those swamp ash ones are awesome.

Yeah, but it's only got 6 strings.

(I don't play 6 strings any more except in baritone. Probably selling most of my PRSses. Otherwise, yeah, love the HSH/maple fretboard/swamp ash body).

I had wanted one of these Hagstrom Ultra Max guitars since they were released a few years ago. I am not disappointed. Nice weight and balance and I really like how the pickups sound:

I had one.Really solid guitar. Dug it because the slightly smaller body and longer scale.

The neck is so far out to the left compared to my normal superstrat style guitars. And the guitar itself is weirdly and unintuitively ergonomic, with its super thin body.

Someone agrees with me lol. SGs sound great but feel so fucking weird. I feel like the ESP viper fixes the issue by simply offsetting the body

Aesthetically, I love an SG, functionally? Hate em, and it's why I got rid of two of them, one of them being an SG LP Custom (triple humbucker, big block inlays, etc)

I truly like it much less than a standard SG aesthetically. Differ'nt strokes.
