What are you looking for in your next guitar, they're fairly different
The 550 is cooler, but I could never do a locking trem, so I'd buy the Charvel (the charvel is neat too tho)

I absolutely don’t need a guitar with a floating trem but the 550 is just so cool

550. I love those maple necked 550s and I never got the hype behind the Sean Long sig. It's a Jim Root strat with a fucked up color layout
