One thing i wonder about : Does a LP with a Floyd has an angled neck like regular LP's? I don't see how it would work with a Floyd with an angled neck.

if you look closely, you can see that the body binding meets the neck below the fingerboard on the floyded Eclipse, where on the one with the tune-o-matic, the binding on the neck and body touch. so i would say no, there is no neck angle.
also, recessed floyds normally don't have angled necks, but non-recessed ones normally do.
