As many of you saw my feeble swirling attempts on my two RG-7620s a few weeks ago... I stripped them and tried something a little different this time.

Here we have before:

I noticed you painted some, if not all, of the pickup cavities. Does that affect tone at all? I'm thinking about doing some mod work on my Revenger, and I wanna be sure that if I get some paint in my pickup cavities that it won't mess up the circuitry of the guitar.

You can paint the inside of the cavities if you would like. I personally dont think it matters but it is known that the cavities are painted with non-conducting paint. So you can either mask them off or paint them.

So, you painted over some 7620s, labeled them as "Universes" and are planning to sell them at 4x their actual worth? :squint:

I see through your plans. "The special 2001 edition Ibanez LEGO Universes."
