I special ordered a Gretsch G5265 Jet Baritone this week. It's a 6-string, 30" scale tuned E-E one octave below a standard guitar. I'll post pics when it gets here.

I wasn't a fan of the pickups that came in my Gretsch, but other than that, nice score :yesway:

Yeah, this should be a hoot. My idea is to use this instead of my regular basses for the acoustic duo gigs I do. It should meld nicely with an acoustic guitar. Of course, I'm interested in picking up the G5566 Doubleneck too. Yep, 6-string guitar w/ 6-string baritone. ;)
