Okay so I recently purchased 2 squier stagemaster guitars. Both in black flake/gun gray. Both reverse headstock. I bought a subsonic baritone(set neck/neck thru) and a stagemaster7(bolt on). I am definately changing the pickups in these, and in the stagemaster7 I'm putting a q-tuner medium-z in the neck and a lace alumitone bass bar 3.5 in the bridge. In the baritone, I had originally planned on lace drop&gain, but now I'm wondering if I shouldn't do the same pickup configuration. A q-tuner medium-z in the neck and an alumitone humbucker in the bridge. Any thoughts? I'd really like to point out that I'm sticking with lace pickups on these guitars, besides the q-tuner. So any suggestions in regards to lace pickups or my odd configurations? Be brutal if you have to. But information first and opinions second please. All input welcome.
