Question on Ibanez RG2920ZAUTGE Prestige

Hello all,

has anybody ever heard of this particular model? I have never seen this Ibanez ever before and I find it extremely gorgeous. My google results were pretty limited for it :/, I'm wondering if any of you folks know what year it was made? if it was a limited run? anybody have any piece of information on it? I am asking because I have a chance of buying it from a somebody who doesn't know any details on it.

From the search I did it appears to be a japan only model. All of the links that showed were in Japanese and from the one English link I found it appears to be limited production too.

That's about as much I can say, as I have little knowledge of Ibanez models. If the deal looks solid I'd say go for it. Being [possibly] a japan only model and a limited production I'd say that probably makes it pretty rare, esp. in the states. Just don't go into anything shady where you might get scammed.

Take what I say with a grain of salt though.

I just got the S Series of that model, it is very nice. They are limited editions for the Japan market only like black43 and thatguyupthere said. I think they are 2013 models if I remember correctly. A few of them made it to the USA, I think they were here to see if Ibanez USA would sell them here in the US but they must have decided against it but who knows for sure other than them.

Ah, thanks! The S series looks great for sure, is yours the EMG equipped? I bet it looks amazing in person.
