Hey all,

so the title is probably a bit confusing, but I'm not really sure how else to phrase it.
The exact thing I'm imagining would be a different kind of wood appearing in the scooped out bevels on the inner side of upper and lower horns. You know, the kind of bevels on fast guitars so that you can reach the upper frets more easily?

One idea is that I could 'inlay' a thicker piece of the desired wood in the shape of the scoop out before actually carving in the scoop... but in order to this I would have to fit the inlayed piece of wood to match the slot on the body exactly. This seems doable enough with a CNC, but does anyone have advice on how to do so without a CNC? xD
