Stevens manned the low-end on Vai's Sex & Religion album, and played on James Brown's latter-day hit, Living in America

Really loved the guy and his groove. Still listening to his Album "Boom", lot of good things on it. Really sad...

Really so sad, he was awesome player but had that real larger than life Bootsy Collins style and personality going on to. I remember him with the Pretenders, but it was Vai's Sex & Religion that really turned me on to him adn then working with Stevie Salas
So sad
