RCA to 1/4 cable for stereo speakers ?

I just bought Bose companion 2 .
I have a line 6 UX1 as an interface..
Now I know these speakers are not meant for mixing but is there any way to connect them to the interface?
Right now they use RCA to stereo cable which I plug into my Mac audio in port..
Can I connect them to the audio interface?
I don't want to use the headphone out jack of the interface for the speakers due to obvious reasons.. So is there any way to convert RCA to 1/4 ..and if yes.. What difference will it make and it is recommended or not.

I currently use the female adapater to run two 1/4" cables from my L and R out on my interface into a JVC stereo I have from high-school. Nowhere near ideal for mixing, but better than using computer speakers, I think.
