Rec. pickups for guitar

i am currently looking at buying new pickups for my guitar. i love the Prog Metal/Rock sound, such as Dream Theater, Symphony X and i also like the power metal such as angra, almah, and avantasia.

since i do like the prog sound i was looking at the dimarzio Liquifire and Crunch labs combination, like JP Sig guitar, but i would also like to know more pickup suggestions.

Can you provide more information about your rig such as what guitar the new pickups are going in, what amp you use and your tuning etc?

It will give readers more of an idea of what to work with.

I've only heard great things about the Petrucci pickups and I believe they are getting really popular for the styles you listed. Short answer, I would go for them for sure.
