I want to know who is the weirdest band you ever heard. I don't care if it's metal or rock or free-form jazz or avant-garde or no one knows.

Metallica...

... just kidding. I'd say "Mr. Bungle" is weird while still being very musical. If the only parameter required is weird: consult youtube with search terms like "noise experimental atonal". You'll find material for years to come.

The problem with that is that once a bunch of bands are all doing the same weird thing, it's no longer weird.

I used to think that I liked Hunab Ku, even bought their first CD, but then I realized I just liked the name Hunab Ku, because the music comes off to me as being especially run-of-the-mill... no h8 I'm jus sayin

I never knew it was the dude from Sleep Terror. I think Sleep Terror kicks the ass of Hunab Ku

My submission for weirdest band? Idk, it might not be the weirdest ever but anyone ever listen to Devil Doll? It's at least the only contemporary rock music I know that uses sprechgesang vocals.

I personally don't think this is weird, but my friend definitively did...

Porky Vagina is Gore/Porngrind with electronic and disco elements. Super weird.

Gut mixed gore/porngrind with rap on their album The Cumback 2006. This song doesn't have any rap elements to it but it's also on that album and its a favorite:
