Recording drums on the computer

Does anyone here know about any good (and free) programs for recording drums with your computer, using the computer keyboard?

Why not just use MIDI? Trying to program drums on a computer keyboard sounds like more trouble than it's worth.

It's not free but there is guitar pro. I'm sure one of the free knock offs will do fine. Programming drums with the keyboard is easy.
