i have a macbook and i use garageband for recording.
i was wondering what guitar effects processor might be my best choice.
no money limit
just need the best one for a progressive deathcore kind of sound.
i was looking at line 6 pods (considering i own a spider amp 150 watts)
any feed back is great.

I don't know a huge amount about this but I would say that if you're thinking of getting a Pod and you can afford it you should go for either the X3 or the new Pod HD. I got the XT and still regret not forking out a little extra for the X3. Sorry if I didn't help very much xD

yeah i was looking at the pod x3 as well, i might just consider that one.

I would say get the POD x3 used (around 200?). I feel like yes the POD HD's have some better sounds, but not enough to warrant the extra 300 dollars. My band gets a lot of really great sounds out of it. Actually, our whole EP is recorded through it (even vocals and bass). So if you ever get that far it really helps with that stuff. Here are some clips of sounds we got.
