Respraying my RG6 - but what colour?

So I call it my "custom RG6" because I really don't know what model I could put it under. I'm sick of the colour because it's been like this for about 3 years now and I want to change it haha.

It was built from scratch with new parts bought online, the specs are:

Woods:
- RG1527 Mirage Red body
- RG2550E Wizard I neck

Hardware:
- Gotoh tuning machines
- LoPro6 trem
- Tremol-no

Pickups:
- DiMarzio DSonic bridge p/up
- Stock middle p/up
- DiMarzio Air Norton neck p/up

I don't know whether or not I want to have the body resprayed as white with black custom artwork (painted/drawn by an artist friend of mine), Galaxy black with white custom artwork, or purple transparent oil.

Any ideas are welcome!

Maybe she just needs a good sprucing up. I'll give that a go first haha.

But I'm really considering the kind of Desert Orange the EBMM Petrucci models have... I've always wanted that colour >.<

The only thing I'm worried about with the orange is maybe it won't work with the gold hardware well? I'm used to seeing things contrast, not blend so much, so it may seem weird to me haha.

I still haven't decided ahaha, so many good choices
I've really strayed from the idea of white gloss though, and that was one I really wanted initially.

Purple looks great with gold.

I think the orange would be fine with the gold hardware, but I don't know about how it would look with the white pickups.
