I've demo'd the Dano Mod 7 and the DeArmond 7, and couldn't stand either one. Squire made a Stagemaster 7 that was pretty decent, but not quite as retro. I've yet to try the Agile Strat, but the Texans I've tried was well made, so I'd love to obtain a seven.

And I once looked high and low for a Strat VII, and could not locate one. I'd imagine that'd be the way to go, as far as value on the dollar, but if they're rare enough to demand a premium, that goes right out the window.

The newest addition to my axe arsenal. Dean Evo Special 7. Such a retro-ish/classic design. It's very Les Paul in terms of looks, construction and tone. Cannot wait to have the Nazgul and TonePros 7 bridge that I bought for it installed. I feel the classic LP-type tone mixed with the modern sound of the Nazgul will be a very very good mix.
