rg7420 or rg1527

Hi,

I am new to 7-strings and request advice on my new guitar. It's for sure one of the 2 but which one?

I like korn, deft, machine head etc.

I mean which of the two:

The rg1527 or the rg7420.

Here's the deal.
I can get the rg7420 used, 3 years old, near mint condition, no case for $500 or i can get the rg1527 new from the store, with original hardshell case for $700.

what do u suggest?

500 without case is pretty steep for a 7420. i'd go with the new 1527 in this case. better trem, prestige neck and a case.

The RG7420 is a cheaper (and older) version of the RG1527 (if we assume that the RG1527 is indeed the RG7620s) successor, so new RG1527 all the way. They're beautiful guitars
