RGA8 Electronics Mod

Pretty much a given that everyone replaces the pickups and electronics as soon as they get an RGA8. I'm curious if anyone has ever kept the pickups but upgraded the electronics instead? I've Googled the shit out of it and can't seem to find anything about it.

It probably won't do a hell of a lot. Might make a small difference but don't expect much.

I'm thinking of doing an 4.8V mod but I'm having trouble finding information on the maximum voltage the stock PU's can handle.

chances are you could find someone who would pay you to take their stock RGA8 pickups off their hands. i'd say get your hands on a spair set for cheap as chips and experiment
