I finally picked up a cab for my dual rec after like 4 months The total for the head + cab came out to only 1150 so I'm pretty happy

Just need to buy a fucking speaker cable now..I thought I had some lying around but apparently I lent them to a bandmate. FUUU?

If you're not gunna dime it an instrument cable will be fine, the only reason the aren't always fine is their resistance increases as you put more through it, which causes a safe mismatch but won't sound good or be as loud as it could. It certainly won't damage anything. A good speaker cable is a worthwhile investment, I personally like DiMarzio.

thats a good half of a half i use one w/ my mesa 4x12 i got the 2x12 for 300 i think on ebay a few yrs back
