Nice to see someone going through the school! Always wondered about it when I was in Phoenix.

Other than the tuition/general cost of living expenses, did you have any other outstanding expenses that you had to deal with while attending? Do you purchase your own tools, etc?

The RV Facebook page just posted this:

Both of Tyler's guitars, looking good.

Actually, did you make a 3rd? That one in the middle looks like your style sort of.

I can't believe they let someone do a fanned fret build. They've really changed their style there!

Caveman posted the 8 string, third from the left, on facebook earlier.. looks liek a beast.. Also the fretboard on this build is awesome! can I ask how much the program cost you?

Congrats man! I really like that trans grey 6 you did, liking the smooth lines of the body shape more than the other 2. A little less aggressive and more to my personal taste. Good work all together, though!

That's awesome! Congrats!

I really dig the body shape and those headstocks! Very unique and just the perfect amount of metal blended to it.

Thanks man! The trans grey build was my "student electric" which had to be built within the restraints of industry standards. So basically it had to be based off a traditional design, have a 1 3/4" body thickness and either gibson, fender, or prs scale length no neck or headstock binding as well as some other details.

Did everyone in the program build that many guitars or were you going for extra credit?

Your grade is based on the construction of one industry standard spec electric and acoustic as well as repair course. Any further options to build are based on your performance after the first 10 weeks of class. There was only a handful of people that completed third and fourth instruments.
