May I point out that .jason.'s post seemed to be a cream puff sarcasm filled little nugget and that we should really focus on bringing a new baby agile to life?

707's, Ebony, Mahogany, trem, 27", natural...t'would be sweet.

I didn't vote because I'll most likely not be able to afford one, but here's the specs I'd like to see:

Scale: 26"
Bridge: Fixed
Bodywood: Alder
Fretboard: Maple
Finish: Natural
Pickups: Passive
Sevenstring logo: definitely

a variation on that would be basswood with solid colour (bright pink metal flake plz)

Would be cool to have one out.

Just a suggestion here, Why not go carvin on this thing?
Ie, make a base model and then list all the options (including the price)

Dunno if that's gonna be as interesting from a financial point of view but that way everyone gets what he wants :agreed:

edit: and the sevenstring.org logo as inlay on the 12th fret with username on the trussrod cover would be awesome (ok, i'll quit dreaming now *ahem*)

Guys, if Kurt is even half-considering making a custom for us, the last few posts that I've deleted will deter him, and rightfully so.

I'll clean the rest of this up tomorrow. We're all guitar players and musicians, and if you can find nothing else to agree on, at least use that as common ground to be considerate.

So far the poll says that people want;
25.5" scale
Floyd
Mahogany body
Ebony board
Trans Quilt
Passive pickups

.....what was the original interceptor specs again?

No need to roll your eyes dude. We were asked about it back then, too. ;)

I'd like to see it with Binding on Neck incl. headstock and body. That would be sweet against a black fretboard!!! although someone mentioned a 777 at the 12th fret, that would be cool!
Passives! Floyd, 27" scale, as for body and finish, whatever, it'd be a sick player!!!

Sorry for reviving the dead.. But after getting my first 7, the idea of a Neckthru 7 with a floyd and possibly a figured top is making me drool

Any news on this? jason or darren?

I would almost automatically get one if it was Neckthru, Floyded, Figured top and at least 24 frets.. I would love to have passive pups, ebony board, 26" scale, alder body.. but thats not make or break for me

Looking forward to seeing one of these hopefully near Feburary / March!

26" scale
Mahogany body
Ebony Board with Sevenstring.org logo across the 12th Fret
Duncans, Dimarzios or other passives of choice.
Finish I'd like to see is Snow White with Black edges.
