ahh, i've watched this vid quite a few times over the years. i enjoy it, but rarely find myself being able to sit through the whole thing. i'd hardly call it mindless, but it gets boring fast. i'll take "under the influence" over this anyday.

Did any else catch his little mistakes at the beginning? Imo, he went into a couple of lines that didn't fit. And I know, music has boundaries or scale blahblah, but he didn't keep going with it, so it must have been a mistake.

All in all, one of my favorite guitar players, I just REALLY dont like this video. And I like how he gets into the 8th notes close to the start

I personally thought he has no phrasing beyond "so fast it sounds smooth". Kudos for warp speed, but I'm the kind of player who considers speed, arpeggios, and chords to be all equal as different methods of getting the emotion/purpose of the song across. This really only had speed.
