They are not going to match it as Misic 123 and Musicians Friend are already selling the new Alexi's with the Blackout. That is why Sam Ash is blowing them out. They want to get rid of the stock with the EMG-HZ. If they do it though let me know so I can get one. I had one about 6 months ago but returned it b/c i wasn't impressed with it for over a grand but for $699 with a blackout it is definately worth it.

I ordered an Eclipse VHB for under 999 with a case today! 850 for the guitar is a steal (including the 150 rebate for being over 1k, it was 970 with the case). You cant buy a better guitar for that price
