Scarlett 2i2 guitar tracks only coming out one speaker? help!

So my setup atm is just my guitar-->line6 spider 15-->scarlett 2i2-->KRK speakers. Whenever i plug into an input into the scarlett, lets say the left one. When i record a track and play it back, it only plays back in the left speaker. my way around this was to record tracks with each input (one track left, one track right) but now my right input isnt recording any sound for some reason. So what am i doing wrong here? is there some way to set this up differently or something? Im so lost =/

What DAW are you using?

What most likely has happened is you created stereo tracks to record with. With your setup, most DAW's would use inputs 1&2 as the inputs of a stereo track, where input 1 is panned left and input 2 panned right.

Try creating a mono audio track.
