this thread is making me regret getting rid of my schecter :(

Fortunately they are easy to find and budget friendly on the used market. Maybe it's about time to start finding yourself another Schecter 7, we need more pics on this thread.

I can't post pictures atm.
My first 7 string was a revenger 7, Which i wasn't to fond of cause the flat top and odd horn.
I currently have a worn in damian c7 I kind of want to swap the emghzs for a 707x and 7-60x set.

I think the early Diamond Series with the Duncan Designed pickups are underestimated because they're bolt-ons and therefore asociated with cheap. Some require replacement of the tuners but the overall build quality and fretwork is really good.

I usually tend to avoid the early Diamond Series stuff because they have a normal scale length, not the 26.5'' scale modern Schecters have.

But they're awesome because of the funky 5x2 (sometimes 1x6) headstock, they usually have ash bodies, and the Avenger 7-string. :yesway:

its funny... i just grabbed a hellraiser c7 spacial for a really good price.
its my 2nd 7string,
my 1st was an ibanez s7320 that i bought after a huge gas for a 7,
such a horrible guitar (sorry s7320 owners...)... its really hard
to find 7s in my country so i picked up the first used one i found.
it just thin and felt really cheap in my hands ... after several pickup
swaps i still didn't like the sound i want and i just sold it and never cared for 7strings for about 3 years.

anyway, the hellraiser is anything the ibanez wasn't for me:
even though its a mid level guitar it feels really high quality, comfortable
with a really beautiful finish and good pair of pickups (I'm an emg fanboy :] )
and really sounds amazing!
so its a keeper for now...

I'm actually an Ibanez guy now but I'm going to post my old Schecter anyways because that thing was beautiful, and I'm sure people want more schecter porn here.

Part of me regrets parting with it as it had such a unique tone to it, but having to switch over to bass for the band I was in back then and disliking the bridge kind of just led to me trading it for an Ibanez 6 string bass, which then got sold shortly after due to quitting that band :wallbash:

You can see the nice ash grain here a bit better..

While we're at it, I might as well post the other schecter I had
5dbrn.jpg

Which was a 2009(?) C7. This one was kind of underwhelming though, had this before my '99 C7 and it just seemed to really love to fight with my rig. Loved the massive frets on it though. Also I'm a sucker for white guitars with black binding, or vise versa.

How is the sls c-7? Time has come for my 2nd seven and it's between the sls, ltd aw-7 and jp70... the sls just looks god damn sexy!

I love it, I haven't played the aw-7 or the jp70 and they look great instruments too, but I'm very happy with my SLS, very comfortable guitar.

An old in-action shot of me with my Omen 7...I'm very tempted at times to get a Schecter back in my arsenal, especially once the new models come out next year. :yesway:
