I just ordered a Schecter Loomis FR, but now it's backordered for a while. I got it for $830 new on musiciansfriend because they were having a sale after Christmas.

I'm considering canceling my order to buy an ESP LTD H-307 (w/ upgrade 707 pickups) from a local music store.
(I guess I prefer the Floyd Rose like on the Loomis, but it's not totally necessary.)

Should I wait it out for my Loomis or is it worth it to cancel my order and save about $300 buying the H-307?

Owners of the Loomis and/or H-307 please help!!! Thanks!

The Loomis is 1 kick ass guitar.
The only reason I am selling mine is to pay bills.
And as soon as I have some spare cash I will get another.

I have never played a ESP LTD H-307, but I also have never heard anything bad about them.

I would wait for the Loomis. :yesway:

There is just something about the Loomis FR that is amazing. Mine just sound heavenly, I don't even like floyds or the way the inlays look (how they go under the frets). But it's one guitar I could never sell because the tone is amazing for what I play.

wait for the loomis - dont let impatience lead to you getting a guitar that isn't as nice.

Wait it out. It seems like forever while your waiting, but once you get it you will forget you ever waited.

Outside maybe the Petrucci models, maybe, the Loomis is the best production seven on the market. Your patience will be rewarded.

Mr Loomis owned both.

I've played both, but I preferred the LTD's neck. Nothing that really can't be solved with sandpaper.

Wait for the Loomis. Or get one off Ebay, it may be faster (That's for the guy that's been waiting since november also). I paid 899$ for mine and it was brand new. From an ebay store.
