SD Slug through Rhodes Orthos and Peavey JSX

You guys asked for them, so here ya go, some more rudimentary clips (done very quickly with no EQ changes or compression this time around). Both with the Slug (in a Warmoth Hardtail Strat http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/standard-guitars/230517-n-sorta-gd-warmoth.html), one with the Orthos and one with the JSX. I used the same settings and gear as my Orthos post in the Gear and Equipment forum http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/gear-equipment/278591-nad-rhodes-orthos-100-ksr-amplification.html, with the added exception of the MXR GT-OD, I used that for the Orthos clip only. For the JSX I had the red channel with the Gain at 4 (out of 10), Channel Vol at 7, Treble at 6, Mid at 5, Bass at 6, Mast Vol 6, Presence at 5, Resonance at 3. No boost on the JSX clip. These aren't stoner/sludge metal clips methinks. Just metal in general. Much tighter this way though.

Did not, previously had the SD SH5, SH6, and a Bareknuckle Coldsweat. The Slug had the best sound for that tuning by far, at least for what I wanted to play.

AKG D5, a vocal mic. I had another mic I would have used but it's out of commission for now.

I've played with bands before and the JSX sounded phenomenal in the mix; it cut very well. Unless of course you mean a recorded mix, where I'd point you to a couple of the Ryan Bruce(Fluff) videos on youtube, he has a few where he used the JSX and they sounded great.

Wish I could get my JSX to sound like that. Something has to be wrong with it. Sounds like complete shit, no matter how I dial it in. Pretty sure it's having some tube issues.
