Here's the second demo I've ever recorded.
What do you guys think of the mixing? Changed up the bass tone since last time. The mastering chain is a bit different as well.

Sounds nice man. Sounds like the cymbals are pumping though.

Changed some things up. Made the snare a bit louder, kick lower. Tried to fix the pumping cymbals, but I'm not sure if I succeeded with that haha.
Personally I think the mix sounds a bit clearer.

Are you compressing your cymbals? Sounds like their attack is getting seriously squashed by too fast of an attack setting on a compressor. If you are, slow attack will let the transients snap through in both mixing and mastering.

Other than that....sounds gooood dude.

I turned off all the compressors for the cymbals. Not sure if I can even hear a difference.

Why does this have to be so hard haha :wallbash:
