WELCOME to the Sevenstring.org 1-Hour Recording competition! Have a seat, sit back, and relax as we take you on a very special journey.

Contestants will attempt to compose and record a song based upon a theme within the timespan or roughly an hour. We should get some great entries!
Entries will be accepted from now until 12:01 AM Monday, Pacific Standard Time.

NOTE: This thread is for song postings only!!!

These are the steps you must take to participate in this great event! Entries that do not comply with these steps will be disqualified and publicly humiliated.

STEP ONE:
Clear your studio area and get your Pods booted up, leads connected, and instruments tuned.

STEP TWO:

STEP THREE:

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, even though I didn't have enough time to put any bass into it (would've had to boot into windows since I don't have any proper bass vst's/au's for mac os x).
Ended up being quite simple too, but I like the atmosphere and it should fit the theme perfectly too (altough the mist in my forest is very thick and it's getting dark too)

I kind of ignored the theme and just threw something together then put some vocals that fit the theme on top . I did realize, however, that I have no mic here to do vocals so I rocked it through the built-in mic on my laptop. One take bullshitting some lyrics and a melody which is kinda sorta ok until the end
