My friend's Warwick Dolphin (don't remember the exact model...I think it was a Dolphin Pro II), but it had a neck that was at least a 7-piece neck, super smooth neck-through heel, and their super wide (I wanna say 19mm) string spacing. The best neck and heel I've ever touched on any instrument...and I don't even play bass.

Really dig that take on the Stephen's Extended Cutaway. Allows you to get right up in there. I'd put the bolt on variations as a runner-up.
