Not really to much though. In my drunken stupor I decided to yank out the EVO7 bridge and was gonna solder in an X2N7 in.
But little did I realize that several other wires came of off the crappy soldering job from the previous insallment (not done by me).
Now Im not sure where they went on the VLX91 switch and may take it to the shop to have them do a RG7CST type wiring I found on projectguitar.

Note to self: don't think of wiring projects when drinking cheap Japanese whiskey.

Anyone else do something equally silly? :wallbash:

Not me, dude. But I know how the wiring looks on my 2027, and can imagine it's easily done.
Anyhow, forget soldering. Check out carbon glue. It conducts, so it'll make tough jobs like the 20/2127 a lot easier.

Japanese Whiskey? I am both perplexed and very intrigued.....
This carbon glue sounds interesting too, I'm learning so many new things today.

The more you know!

Please, do tell more about carbon glue. I just bought an ESP off eBay, but it needs to have the jack repaired. Since I posses neither the skills nor the equipment to solder, I would like to try the carbon glue. That way I wouldn't have to take it in to the shop.

Heh, i actually repaired the input jack on my Ibby AXS32 yesterday by hot-gluing the wires back. Really ghetto, but at least it's easily reversible if I ever decided I should solder it back on.
