The guy has his right eye matching the neck pickups bass side height screw... with a bit of luck he could have also matched his phone with the bridge pickup...

... over there...
I said in another thread that I had seen an Ibanez GIO selling for 9K in Ebay... well, it's not the only "shoot for the sky" priced one... there are 2 more average Ibanez guitars with crazy high price tags, so the fun in these is obviously the what the fuck are the sellers thinking? The guitars themselves look quite ok and the shots are very nice, which contributes to the wtf feeling on these adds.

So without further adue, for your enjoyment I leave you the links:

1st - Ibanez RGAIX6U (link to ebay sale), Indonesia made, $15275.16 asking price

2nd - Ibanez Gio (link to ebay sale), asking price $9311.00

3rd - Ibanez RGIM7ZW (link to ebay), Indonesia made, asking price $6291.54. Maybe this one is a limited run, but even so...

My bet is that the sellers don't know how different currencies work with each other and priced these guitars for a local currency, but it was in something else...?

They are high because they don't own those guitars. If you look at a Japanese guitar listings on eBay, 99% of the time they are drop shipping the item. Here is the actual link https://jp.mercari.com/en/item/m39692880293 It is still priced high for what it is
