I mean the body shape is symmetrical on most models.
And I know why they did that, but I want to know why they did the offset specifically. I would have slightly deepened the cutaways and lengthened the horns slightly.

Most likely because offsetting the body won't negatively impact how the guitar balances on a strap. Not to mention it looks pretty cool.

Cool indeed, but every Viper I've played has been massively neck heavy. Come to think of it, so has every SG. ;)

Pretty guitars though.

I'm really liking the explorer looking one, and the dean looking one :D
I'd love to shred those.

Already seen all of those. But those are all custom so... :/
In general, Japan gets way cooler guitars than we do, stock guitars even.

Ah the wonders of what you can do when there aren't packs of hungry lawyers rampaging around the countryside, suing anything that even peripherally resembles something else.

"Orange, I am serving you with notice that you're infringing on my client, Apple, because you're also somewhat round, have seeds, and are tasty. Stop that at once!"

The only one that really appealed to me was the explorer. The others really aren't my thing, but sick none the less!

The ones in the OP are all custom too, though... but I agree that the japanese market has a lot cooler stock models. But the japanese music scene and sense of aesthetics is incredibly different from the west, I don't really think the japanese guitars would sell any better here than what we already have.

I also like the Explorer and the Rhoads 7's. I'd like them better if the Explorer was a tune-o-matic and the Rhoads was black with black hardware.

But still nice. Must be nice to have an endorsement deal or have at least $4000 to spend on a custom axe and get whatever you want... :noplease::rolleyes:

Until then, I'm happy with mod'ing the living hell out of my LTD's!!! :metal::yesway::hbang::shred:
