There's no way Abbath is serious. He's clearly having the time of his life at all times. They know they're writing grimdark fantasy clichés about a world called Blashyrkh and setting them to badass riffs. No way that's something that they'd get overly serious about. Case in point: last time I saw them, he crab-walked across the stage while playing the intro to In My Kingdom Cold, growled "what's up, motherfuggers?" into the mic, then the drums kicked in and it was glorious. They're no more serious than KISS.
