Anyone have any idea why my monitors pick up a bunch of electric interference when they're hooked up to a sub?
I'm running an MAudio ProFire 2626 into an SBX10 sub, then from the outs of the sub into the ins of a pair of BX5a's.
I'm using TRS cables from the 2626 to the sub and XLR cables from the sub to the monitors. The XLR's are brand new and the TRS's are in pristine condition.

i'll map out the problem:

interface --> monitors = silence
interface --> sub --> monitors = noise

why???

The noise is definitely from computer interference. There's an odd hum, which could also be described as a bit of a hiss, and random crackling, but not the kind of crackling you get with a bad cable.
The noise also becomes slightly louder and more abrasive when the computer performs any sort of operation whether its moving the mouse or opening a pro tools session.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
