...that kind of idea
Instead of a bevel we'll sequester a surgeon and get everyone's forearm bevelled so all guitars become suitable.
Roasted pickups, overwound neck, stainless steel bridge, chrome frets, brushed steel headstock
yeah, ss frets are a must have for me.
so basically:
1. non-superstrat body (let's say a modern tele like the FR) out of alder/basswood
2. 26.5" scale, 7 strings
3. road flare red/cosmic purple
4. maple fretboard/neck with jumbo ss frets and black dot inlays (gotta keep the rg550 theme)
5. hipshot hardware/tuners/hardtail bridge
basically this as a 7 string:

thanks, it was a lot of fun to build. This is fucking awesome
Who would be in for a 28.625” 6 string baritone from Agile?
Basic specs:
Flatmount hardtail bridge
Any Woods (i have no preference)
HH configuration
SS frets
Passive pups
Reverse inline headstock
Any finish
Black hardware
Locking tuners
Standard 2 knob control layout
Aww man, I'm selling TWO OF MINE that are exactly like this because of not having stainless steel frets. Such a major factor for me. I would be sooooooo down for a run like this!!!
Realistically, this could never happen. Not enough interest, and the interest we have could never settle on specs we all agree on. This is SSO, no one agrees with each other on coming up with guitar specs.Anyone else actually super keen for this to happen? I am.
Anyone super keen to take the reigns and make it happen. I am not.
Anyone?
Didn't it create the Agile 7 string before that?Remember when this site created the Agile 8 string line? That was actually a really awesome guitar. Never happening again

Boy, how things change. You had a popular, longstanding and motivated forum member
I want to hear that story! Names and everything plzThat was definitely a perfect storm situation.
You had a popular, longstanding and motivated forum member, who happened to be a great designer too, rally the troops. Then Agile, was a newer builder who had built up tons of goodwill and was looking to expand. Finally the product was servicing a significant gap in the market.
There are just so many options out there, at all price points, that something like this just isn't going to happen again anytime soon.
