I never really dug his picking hand. Never have been a fan of the banana shaped way of holding the pick. Definately a cool song though, what guitar was he playing?

His right hand technique isn't great but then neither is Marty Friedman's, Guess you don't need amazing technique to make good songs:)

He used a krank back when they were sponsored on the guitar world vids, and his tone was pretty balls then, too.

Yeah, I know the one, that was a pretty shit tone but I honestly think it was just the way the video was made...most players sound horrible in those vids :lol:

The tone sounded great (well, except on the rhythm parts... that was a bit lacking.), you're all high. :rolleyes: I especially liked the harmonized James Murphy-esque parts. :yum:

Steve's a good player, and a great guy to hang with. He's definitely a more legato-ish player than most of the guys discussed around here, though.
