Hey guys

Nearly time to restring my relatively new Ibanez ARZ307 (First time since owning it) and I was wondering what would be a suitable string gauge/brand. I usually just keep it in B standard, sometimes going to drop A.

The reason I am asking is because I have heard that the hardware of the guitar such as the tuners are kind of 'cheap', and I dont wanna push it to its limits and mess something up haha

Oh yeah, and everything is still stock on my guitar, including pick ups, Which I may change in the future. But for now I dont mind them. Just playing them though Pod Farm at the moment and they do the job.

Thanks for your suggestions :hbang:

I'm currently modding mine (only stock parts left are body/neck)

Going to use a .011 .015 .018 .26 .36 .50 .62 gauge for Standard A tuning to make up for the shorter scale.

Cool, what pick ups did you throw in?
