Suggestions for a 24 fret, reverse headstock guitar at around $1000

Trem optional, maple or ebony fretboard would be nice. Suggestions please! Carvin comes to mind since I can pick whatever and still have the reverse headstock

Used you can find some nice ESP M-II maples for about the same if not less.

A '90s Hamer Diablo would fit the bill nicely ...

Mine is a '93 model, USA made, think it was $600 or so with Hamer case. Pickups are Duncans.

You also have the Ibanez RGR1570, which is basically the reverse headstock RG1570 in suede black. The one I had was probably the best sounding Ibanez I have owned.

Snag this ESP M-II Deluxe from the 90s. Superior instrument to today's M-II Standard in my opinion, if you can find one in good shape. Much thinner neck & swamp ash body:
